Terms of Use
Last updated 18 August 2026
These Terms apply to Bottleful, an iPhone and Apple Watch app operated by:
support@bottleful.app
By using Bottleful, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Bottleful does
Bottleful is a personal logging tool for formula bottle feeding. It lets you record how much a baby drank and when.
2. Bottleful is not medical advice
Bottleful is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, health, nutritional or feeding advice.
Bottleful does not tell you how much a baby should drink, when a baby should be fed, whether a baby is receiving enough nutrition, or whether a prepared bottle is safe to use.
Do not use Bottleful as a substitute for the formula manufacturer's instructions or for advice from a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional. You are responsible for decisions about preparing, storing and feeding formula, and for deciding when professional medical advice is needed.
3. Your entries
Bottleful relies on the information you enter, and you are responsible for checking that the volume and time you record are correct.
Bottleful is intended for use by an adult parent, guardian or caregiver. If you enter information about a child, you must be entitled to do so.
4. Local data
Bottleful stores its data on your device. Deleting Bottleful deletes the data stored by Bottleful on that device, and we cannot recover it for you.
5. Subscription
Bottleful offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store, on a monthly and an annual period. The current price and currency are shown by Apple in the app before you confirm the purchase, and those are the terms that apply to your purchase.
Free trial
Eligible users receive a one week free trial. Apple determines eligibility and shows the applicable offer before you confirm the subscription. If you start a trial and do not cancel before it ends, the subscription becomes a paid subscription at the price shown when you subscribed.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled — a monthly subscription for another month, an annual subscription for another year. Apple handles the purchase and charges your Apple Account. We do not receive your payment details.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time through your Apple Account subscription settings. On iPhone this is normally Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Bottleful → Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the subscription renewing again, in accordance with Apple's subscription rules.
Refunds
App Store payments and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund you must use Apple's refund process.
6. If a subscription ends
When a subscription or trial ends, Bottleful returns to its subscription screen and logging is unavailable — on the iPhone, on the Apple Watch, and from the widgets.
The entries already stored on your device are not deleted. They remain on the device and become visible again if you subscribe again. Deleting the app still deletes them, as described in section 4.
7. Using Bottleful
You may use Bottleful for your own lawful personal use. You may not attempt to interfere with the app, bypass its purchase system, or use Bottleful in a way that breaks applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
Bottleful — its name, icon, source code, design and other original material — is owned by Nurlan Toktonaliev or the respective rights holders, and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Apple's Usage Rules (see section 10), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Bottleful for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Outside of that licence, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works based on Bottleful, or use the Bottleful name or icon, without our prior written permission.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Bottleful working correctly, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free from errors. Software, operating systems and devices change over time, and Bottleful may need to change to stay compatible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law.
10. Apple
These Terms are between you and us alone. Apple is not a party to them, and we, not Apple, are solely responsible for Bottleful and its content.
Your licence to use Bottleful is a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Bottleful. If Bottleful fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation in respect of Bottleful.
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to Bottleful, including product liability claims, any claim that Bottleful fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar law. We are also responsible for the investigation and defence of any claim that Bottleful infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, on your acceptance of them, will have the right to enforce them against you.
11. Privacy
Bottleful's handling of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. This does not take away any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
